CONTROLLED MIND

In "Controlled Mind," I explore the connection between spirituality and the digital realm, drawing parallels between Hindu beliefs and the impact of our thoughts and actions on the universe. Hindus view the divine spirit as omnipresent in nature, emphasizing the influence of every thought and deed on the world around us. In today's social media age, the act of "sharing" mirrors this concept, projecting our thoughts into the universe where they continue to exist even if deleted, echoing the eternal transformation of energy. Yoga, rooted in Hindu philosophy, underscores the importance of self-discipline to navigate these constant changes.

"Controlled Mind" invites audience participation through a unique installation. Visitors contribute their thoughts in 3-5 words on paper, symbolizing the sharing of ideas. These words are placed in a symbolic vessel, akin to a modern-day social media platform, and transformed into animated graphics, culminating in a physical manifestation on the installation floor. The site-specific experience features black and white visuals, a 2-minute loop, and immersive sound, creating a thought-provoking journey into the realm of self-awareness and transformation.
